Family Photography in Chagrin Falls Ohio || Gayle’s Family
Family photography in North East Ohio can be tricky. We often schedule back up dates in case of bad weather. And we usually wait until the last minute to reschedule because, well, we are in NORTH EAST OHIO! And all of us North-Ease-Ohioans know that the weather in our area can go from 70 and sunny to snowing in a matter of hours. For Gayle’s session we watched the weather close! The goal was to have a beautiful golden fall day, with vibrant leaves on all of the trees, chilly enough to encourage cuddling but not so cold that the kids would need coats or have red noses. It rained earlier in the day, it looked like it would be cold, and it made me question having our session. Fast forward a few hours and we enjoyed the PERFECT Family photography session weather! Praise God! Because Gayle’s family is moving out of their first family home in Chagrin Falls Ohio, we started the session in their front yard. We were sure to photograph Gayle’s family in front of this special house that they have called their home for some of the most special years in their family’s life. Next we moved onto one of their favorite Chagrin Falls parks, Frohring Meadows. Frohring Meadows is a perfect park for family photography in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. It is open with a great trail and awesome skyline. The kids loved running down the hill, hunting for dandelions to blow all over each others heads, and walking down the trail hand-in-hand with mom and dad.
Gayle’s outfit choices were on point.
All of her kids looked absolutely adorable! I loved how she kept the colors consistent through the photo shoot. Everyone was in neutral grey, blue, and or black except for momma. Which is totally appropriate! A mom’s role is at the heart of the home, she should wear the pop of color! That pop becomes the focus! In Gayle’s first outfit she was wearing a super cute red top and the second she was wearing an elegant floor length red dress that photographed beautifully in the open field.
